S28 Production Hub Owner: Janice Toussaint

Janice Toussaint is the owner and Director of Studio 28, an institution dedicated to training and educating students in the field of Dance Arts. Originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, Janice began her dance training at the age of three. She continued her training at the Dance Workshop in New Port Richey, Florida, under the leadership of Gloria Tyndale for ten years, where she enhanced her skills and knowledge in dance.

Janice furthered her dance education at the University of South Florida (USF) dance department, where she also taught and performed. During her time at USF, Janice taught at various dance conferences in locations such as London, Toronto, Miami, Tampa, and Detroit. Through her experiences, Janice discovered the profound meaning of dancing for the Lord and became passionate about enlightening the community's children on what the Word of God says about dance and its significance.

In September 2013, Janice opened Studio 28, where she taught the community in Tampa Bay not only dance but also provided them opportunities to grow within the arts industry. Many students received dance scholarships, leadership and convention opportunities, and mentorship from esteemed dance mentors, including leaders from Tremaine Dance Conventions and Dance Makers Incorporated (DMI).

In 2022, Janice felt called by the Lord to pause the studio. In 2023, she received guidance to transform Studio 28 into S28 Production Hub continues the mission to represent Christ through the arts, giving the community opportunities to participate and grow in the arts on prominent platforms.
